Huge displays of the latest products

The 2015 Perth Truck and Trailer Show will include some of the most exciting new trucks and trailers on the market.

UD Trucks will bring one of their new release models in the medium duty Condor range in what will be its first showing in WA. The new UD Condor MK Tipper features a 240hp (180kW) engine with 716Nm of torque and an Allison automatic transmission; and is the first factory-fitted tipper to be offered by UD in Australia. UD will also bring the new Condor PK with optional attenuator body.

Volvo will display the new FM with industry leading I-Shift. Described as “the art of efficiency”, the Volvo FM has a highly fuel-efficient engine and super comfortable cab environment. The Volvo FM takes efficiency to a new level; and is on display with Truck Centre WA. Other models on display with Truck Centre WA include Mack Granite, Superliner and Titan models.

WA Iveco will bring the new Powerstar 7800. This is the latest addition to the Powerstar range and is the flagship of the IVECO fleet. Offering an all American driveline, the 7800 is a heavy duty workhorse which can haul the biggest loads right up to 140 tonnes.

WesTrac are proud to display the long anticipated Cat CT630HD model. The CT630HD is a bold new addition to the range - Cat CT630 models to date have been limited to a GCM of 90 tonnes, however the new CT630HD boasts a gross combination mass rating up to 130 tonnes. The Cat CT630HD was launched at the Brisbane Truck Show and will be seen for the first time in WA at the Perth Show.

The Western Star 4800FS will be on display with AV Trucks. The 4800FS is available with engine ratings of up to 600HP and comes standard with a modern and spacious air-suspended cab. MAN will launch its D38-engined TGX to the WA market at the Show. They will display a Euro 6 TGX 26.560 BLS 6x4 prime mover, which will be the first time a MAN model powered by the company's new D38 engine has been publically shown in WA.

Scania will introduce its flagship V8 range with Euro 6 emission compliance to the WA market, after their launch at the Brisbane Show. Heading the line-up is the company’s flagship R 730 V8 prime mover; plus two 6-cylinder Euro 6 compliant models; a G 490 and a P 450. There is also a possibility they will bring the R 580 Euro 6 V8 to the event also. Scania have a focus on environmental protection, CO2 and fuel reduction, and improved sustainable operator profitability; and this is evident in these vehicles’ Euro 6 compliance.

Kenworth will display their new model T409: Offering up to 550 horsepower, the T409 is the perfect truck for maximum payload single trailer and 26m B-Double combinations with 36” sleeper. The latest in the DAF LF series will also be on display. The new DAF LF Series is designed with a modern new exterior and a completely new interior. It is comfortable, smooth, light and agile offering superb maneuverability, easy cab access, excellent ergonomics, low kerb weights for increased payloads, comfort, performance and fuel efficiency.

  • Howard Porter’s new Steelbro Side Lifter.

  • New model grain trailers from Bailey’s Body Builders.
  • Graham Lusty Trailers including tippers.
  • Evolution, Wabash National and other tippers from Bruce Rock Engineering.
  • Custom Quip Semi Trailers and Dollys.
  • Southern Cross semi trailers.
  • Palfinger loading cranes.
